davidsview > 2008.12.25... Why we celebrate Christmas. I went out and about yesterday, Christmas Eve, looking for the perfect Nativity. I photographed many, but this one, outside the Trinity Lutheran Church in Spanaway, WA, struck me. It's simplicity. It's colors. It's meaning. This, in my mind, the birth of Jesus, is the reason we celebrate Christmas. There are many translations, but for me, as a Christian, this is mine. Merry Christmas everyone. May your day be filled with joy and happiness. May your day be framed in your own translation of this Celebration. May you be with friends and family, if only in memory.
